Italian metal-trio IVORY TIMES sign with Sliptrick records!

IVORY TIMES are an Italian metal-trio formed in 2014, composed by Phil Bertone, Il Cinque and Daniele Cocco. They have released two albums, "Saturated Souls" in 2014 and "Suicide World" in 2015. Their sound is full of very different influences that include genres such as alternative metal, post grunge, stoner rock, modern rock and others that blend with their texts which deal with social issues close to their hearts. From autumn 2016 to spring 2017, the trio composed and recorded their upcoming album Paraboloid (part one) to be released on Sliptrick Records.

DIONISYAN have signed with Sliptrick Records for their second album, provisionally titled Delirium and Madness – Concerto Grosso Opera N° 2 in G Minor, which should be ready for release by 2017. It will be released worldwide in all the usual formats via Sliptrick Records.

Tregor Russo proposes with his band DIONISYAN, an innovative Atmospheric Doom Metal melted Symphonic Baroque Metal, structured in his polyrhythmic contrapuntal polyphony style.

The lyrics he has written for the opera are based on the “Concept for the Human Sanctification”.

All compositions, arrangements, orchestrations and lyrics by Tregor Russo.

All Instruments were recorded and performed by Tregor Russo at Ultrasuoni Studio, Palermo, Italy.

AMPLIFIED MEMORY "Vas Hermeticum" to be released on October 20 via Sliptrick records

AMPLIFIED MEMORY have announced the release date of their forthcoming album Vas Hermeticum. It’s set for October 20th, 2017 worldwide via Sliptrick Records in all the usual formats. The German prog rockers have worked long and hard on Vas Hermeticum and feel they have put together their best recorded work yet, pushing and embellishing on their already wide-ranging and complex style.

Here’s the album description in the bands own words; “The psyche of a person can metaphorically be understood as a hermetically sealed alchemic glass vessel – a ‘vas hermeticum’ – in which the condensation processes resemble the human ability to intellectualize (sublimate) and then realize (concretize) psychic content, therefore to reflect on it. Alchemists called this procedure inside this symbolic cosmic uterus ‘solve et coagula’. AMPLIFIED MEMORY’s highly conceptual album Vas Hermeticum deals with the philosophical nature of dream and reality. On nine energetic, emotional, captivating songs and a hypnotically beautiful intro track they explore the world of hallucinations, near-death experiences and oneiric states as well as the questions for self-perception and the separation of those realms from what we call reality.”

About AMPLIFIED MEMORY

Dreams, recurring patterns, reminiscences, desires, the question about reality or simply the longing for the vast, undiscovered universe. These are the focus of German group AMPLIFIED MEMORY, who have been working on their own musical conception of melodic death metal since 2008. While their debut album The Ever Spinning Wheel (2013) was almost exclusively influenced by the classic Gothenburg melodic death metal, they expanded their style gradually by using numerous elements of progressive and black metal without giving up their original strengths: dual guitar lines, powerful growls, beautiful melodies, atmospheric keyboards and elaborate riffs. Regardless of whether the songs are doom/black metal ballads, stomping mid-tempo beasts or fast death metal, AMPLIFIED MEMORY stand for an innovative mixture of different metal sub-genres with a focus on 90’s melodic death metal.

This is the first video release for BITTERED’s upcoming release on Sliptrick Records, "Foreign Agenda". "Badge Headmakes" a strong political and social statement about an all too familiar problem in the US. Here’s the description of the track in the bands own words; “The track 'Badge Head' is obviously about the police …ha ha. It’s a song that rails against the practice of Racial Profiling and about the fact that most people stopped and searched by the police are minorities. Here in America, our prison system is filled mostly with minorities. We believe the policies of the police and justice system here in America are racist, which obviously, we are against. There is too much power given to the police, and the majority of personnel working for the justice system are power hungry and self-serving rather than serving and protecting the people equally.”
